Breaking light

what light from yonder window breaks?

a fraction of light maybe unseen?

hidden in gentle flakes falling

o’er boston the precious dusting

white the city of my brother revolts

or when will it? the bricks crack

Paramount Theater lights flash

‘cross Washington St cars one way pass

as time does the neon warning laughs

TODAY in the slush always cold feet stamp
